G&U Before the re-birth - 1

Unfortunately I don't recall the date of this photo of but it was before I went digital in 2002. Anyway I believe this G&U Alco S-4 212 sitting wrapped in plastic at Washington MIlls at N Grafton awaiting its next use shuttling cars to/from Conrail (or maybe CSX) interchange less than a mile away.

And now as of 3/5/2020 they are finally laying new track from Hopedale to Milford! Almost gave up hope.
