NA-1 / 512 at the Wilton Runaround Track

Here was the NA-1 Crew, as they finished their runaround in Wilton at their end of the Hillsboro Branch last week. Pan Am's ownership of the line ends by the Howard Street Crossing, while the State owns the rest up to Bennington. The crew would begin their long slow return trip to Nashua.

Also in the picture is a cab-over-engine tractor unit, that was moving a trailer around the Souhegan Wood Products property.

MEC 512 has been the road power for the Nashua Crews for several weeks now. It's been good catching this very clean, well painted, 1976 built GP40-2(w) Ex-CN wide-nose-cab moving the freight on these NH Rails.
