NA-1 502 @ Goffs Falls Bridge in Manchester

Here was the NA-1 Crew as they crossed the four span Goffs Falls Bridge over the Merrimack River between Bedford and Manchester. The MPN 24 marker is just to the north of here.

They had a lengthy train with empties from Merrimack, loads for Manchester, Bow, Concord, and Meredith that were interchanged with New England Southern at Concord.

MEC 502 has been the power for the Nashua Crews since the start of April.

Always great to see this first generation of Canadian Comfort Cabs on these NH Rails. The wide nose cabs were designed for both safety and comfort for the crews. This GP40-2L(w) was built in May of 1974 for Canadian National as their 9432.
