Shorty at Palmer!

Having visited Palmer, MA, many times, I don't recall too many sightings of these beauties, mostly "geeps" and the Alcos, earlier. In more recent years, we are all lucky enough to enjoy a fantastic meal in the station there, the STEAMING TENDER, courtesy of Robin and her wonderful crew. The late Bob Buck of Warren, MA, a good friend of mine, frequented the dining here...today one can seek-out his namesake chair in the restaurant.

Photographed by John B. Taylor (my late Father), August 26, 1983.
Added to the photo archive by John A. Taylor, May 9, 2020.
Railroad: Central Vermont.
