NA-1 515 past Hall Street in Bow

From Wednesday afternoon (6/24), here was the NA-1 Crew with 515 heading towards the Yard Tower in Concord. They just finished taking out an empty at Bow Blue Seal.

Up until recently, this area behind the PITCO plant was choked with weeds, brush, and small trees. (PITCO makes commercial frying equipment.. Think of how well your chicken parm or fried dough tastes!) . Under the picnic table are the tracks that once led to the PITCO siding on the right, along side the building where a stranded B&M Boxcar remains.

As you can see on a hot day, the Pan Am crew employed their version of a 'cross flow ventilation system' by keeping the front door open and allowing a breeze to pass through the cabin. :)

Another week for the former CN 9656, GP40-2(w) on "These NH Rails".
