NA-2 316 by the Hooksett Fire Station

Usually not much of a big deal? 316 has been sighted on these rails many times over the years... Nothing unusual about the empties.... the white "Guilford Rail System" lettering hasn't been taken over by oil and dirt...

What was noteworthy here, the front of 316 was facing south. A rarity, as the crews seem to prefer to have the front of their engines facing north almost all of the time. Here was the NA-2 Crew passing the Hooksett Fire Station, heading towards Manchester Yard to pick up more empties, then south to Nashua. Should 316 return for use next week, most likely it will be wyed in North Chelmsford to face north.

Good horns on this 52 year old daily driver.
