Railworks is finishing up it's first pass down the Falmouth Secondary line shown here working on the short section of the Otis Junction next to the Falmouth bike path. Will be headed back to Canal Junction next to resume installing the rest of the ties on the line.

What service that will be operating on the Falmouth Secondary? Freight, passenger, seasonal scenic, etc.?

Mass Coastal operates freight service to the Otis Transfer station on Joint Base Cape Cod shipping C& D disposal to out of State landfills and transporting Military shipments when needed to / from the base. Also Cape Cod Scenic RR operates scenic / dinner Trains on this line as well. Now that the Falmouth Secondary line will be in good condition expanded future use can now be considered
