NEGS 2555 on the Winnipesaukee River Bridge in Northfield

Now that NEGS 2555 has made the journey across the Pan Am system to Bellows Falls, here's a look where the southbound journey began on 8/14. After being left at 3M in Tilton since early July, the NEGS 2.0 Crew took 2555 and the two empties to Concord, where Pan Am's Nashua Crews would take 2555 further along for pick up in Lowell by the POED Crew.

NEGS 2.0 is under new ownership in Vermont Railway, so the 2555 will eventually make it to VTR's Burlington Shops for a required inspection.

There are lots of great places to photograph this railroad, as they move through Northfield and Tilton, like here as the NEGS 2.0 Crew crossed the westernmost Winnipesaukee River span between Northfield and Tilton. Notice the B&M Call Box ?
