NHN Test-Extra at Everett

With the PTC compliance deadline looming, New Hampshire Northcoast sent their GP38-2 #3823 down to the MBTA/Keolis for testing. Here, the locomotive leads a 5 car consist with rebuilt F40PH-3C pushing from the rear as they head East through ABS 3.6 in Everett, MA. The Eastern Route was an odd place to see a NHN locomotive, but it was chosen due to Green Line Extension work obstructing testing on the Fitchburg Main and New Hampshire Mainline. For several hours, the crew ran numerous tests between Revere and Salem before they could officially certify the system on the 3823.
