Lots of stick rail dont know where amtrak uses it except on the crossings and their part of cedar hill.

Given the current price of scrap metal, I'm surprised its not on a slow boat to China.

The area is divided between the MoW base for Amtrak. The track P&W leases and then A&K Railroad Materials. They use to do welded rail trains but I believe a piece broke and it was not worth the time to repair it.
