MIdnight Blue arrives rainy Framingham

Amtrak's one-of-a-kind P42 commemorating its 50th birthday leads the eastbound Boston section of the Lake Share Ltd, train 448 into Framingham MA on-time a little after 7pm. The unit is painted Midnight Blue, which according to Canva, a vendor of on-line design and publishing tools, "...Midnight blue projects sophistication and elegance. Its link with formal occasions and royalty means it conveys confidence, power and authority, while its deep hue can also come across as dark and mysterious." The Genesis is hardly an attractive locomotive but Midnight Blue paint does make it at least provocative.
