P&L 1012 by the Weirs Beach Boardwalk

Almost makes me think of the 1960's Dionne Warwick hit, "Planes and Boats and Trains" minus the planes, but I was hoping one would fly into the scenery.. This is the famous Weirs Beach Boardwalk, where else can you see all of this?

On the docks, is the MV Mount Washington, the mail-boat, "Sophie C" back after a few years OOS, and their newly acquired Winnipesaukee Spirit cruise boat. Their other boat the "Doris E" remains OOS for now.

The Winni Scenic offers one hour train rides from Weirs Beach Station, 5x a day starting at 11 am with 3 trips south to Lakeport and 2 trips north to Meredith, where the two hour rides originate.

The consist is made up of two former non-powered Reading/MBTA Budd RDC-1's, two former Lackawanna/NJT Pullman MU cars, one ex-CN caboose, with a former BN SW1000 doing the pulling and pushing chores.
