EDPO 7517 tied down at CPF-307 in WestfordHere was Sunday's (8/29) EDPO engine lineup, as they tied down at the CPF-307 signals in Westford with no crew change. A westbound POAY would make it's way through here later that afternoon.
This was a lengthy EDPO, and we eyeballed quite a few cars that will go to Nashua and points north, like that load of telephone poles that could easily wind up in Concord.
The engine lineup made me think of the movie, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" with two sharp looking EMD/GMD's (the Good) sandwiched between three 'Tattered Looking GEs" (maybe not so Bad, but certainly Ugly!") Yes, we know the saying, "Paint Doesn't Pull".
The all MEC lineup:
7517e - Dash 8-40C
619w - SD40M-2 (Dig that SD45 shell!)
7609w - Dash 8-40C
3402e - SD40-2
5966e - Dash 8-40B
Taken safely from the walking trails just off Depot Road in Westford. A great place to hike around, and especially fun for my four legged pal, as this park is very dog friendly..
