MEC 518 in Manchester

Here was MEC 518 from late Wednesday afternoon (9/29) in Manchester. The cars you can see are empties from Pan Am's Merrimack clients. The Bow and Concord empties are not visible, but the Downtown Manchester skyline is. MEC 518 has been a common sighting on these New Hampshire Rails in 2021. Built in 1976, this ex-CN GP40-2(w), is fully equipped with ACSES technology to operate in MBTA territory.

Taken from the Upper Sky Box Seats in the Railfan Penthouse Suite overlooking the Scenic South End of the Manchester Rail Yard.
