Amtrak Train 173 in the White Christmas Eve Snow

The Christmas Eve snow here was so light and fluffy that AMTK 631 (ACS-64), slowing for train 173's stop at Kingston Station, is still raising an impressive tail of snow despite reducing speed for the station stop just ahead and despite train 2163 having blown away a lot of snow just 10 mintues earlier.. Train 173 carried only 8 cars (6 coaches, 1 cafe, and 1 business class). Far more passengers exited the train here than boarded for points west.
