Truly great capture of the end of the PAR era and with not one but two beautiful Waterville-repainted EMD, ex QNS&L, SD40-2s leading, plus the snow, plus the bridge-what more could you ask for?

And thanks to all those other railfans on NERAIL who have braved all kinds of weather, hiked to obscure vantage points, driven long distances, made the most with available light and waited and waited in cold and heat in an era of infrequent trains and probably thought half crazy by "unbelievers" for doing going through all this effort to get great shots like this.
