NA-1 507 @ NSU 21 by West Mitchell Street

From Friday, 5/26, here was the NA-1 Crew with the 507 and 6 empties from Anheuser-Busch as they headed north to do their Manchester runaround.

So far, this has been the longest rotation for the July 2020 repainted Guilford heritage engine on "These NH Rails", though I hope when it's taken back to Waterville, 507 gets a much needed exterior washing.

This was by the former Mile Post N26, with the painted over granite post behind the signal bungalow. To the right of the cut off signal post, now obscured by the low branches, is the new milepost 21 for Nashua Subdivision NSU 21. At one time, there were block signals here those would have been on the left side of 507. At the right, the remains of a signal pole that had new signals installed, but were never activated. The control points and block signal system north of the still active CPN-9 (Now called Nashua South) to the north side of Manchester Yard, the former CPN-28, were all turned off for good, and fully removed by early Spring 2020.

Always nice to see a little Heritage on the Nashua Subdivision.
