Rutland combine #260 is about to finish the second leg of its trek to "museum status." Today it traveled south on what were "historically familiar rails" with the 25 car general freight on the VTR's B&R sub -- and will be placed on the siding next to the station here in North Bennington Vt. #260 will be forwarded early next week via flatbed trailer to its final destination -- the Railroad Museum of New England (Naugatuck Railroad) in Connecticut.
