Conrail SD40-2 6449 is dropping ballast in the Groton interlocking.the track leading off to the right heads for P&W's Fairview yard. the track to the left at this time was refered to as the house track. Earlier on the track continued straight where the kink is and rejoined the main at the tower. The kink is where a siding split for the Lumber yard and the Groton Freighthouse.
