Pictured is a close up of the MWCR Ammonoosuc #2 steam locomotive, illustrating two of the four cylinders that drive the locomotive. Note the cog under the rear of the locomotive, with a corresponding one under the smoke box. This is one of the original fleet from the late 1800's but of course has been rebuilt so many times that much of the unit is not original...
