West Concord Depot with Old Colony RR Logo in Stained Glass

The Depot at West Concord, MA was once called "Concord Junction". The Framingham and Lowell RR crossed the Fitchburg RR here. The Framingham and Lowell was taken over the the Old Colony RR, later by the New Haven, and at the time of the photo by PC. The Fitchburg RR became the B&M Fitchburg Division (now MBTA). The depot still stands but the stained glass is gone.

Photographed by Bill McCaffrey, 1972.
