Photo of Dover, NH
Dover, NH

My father was standing on the Portsmouth and Dover bridge over the Cocheco River in Dover, NH to take this picture. The gray building in the center of the photo is the McGinnis- era B&M station, now replaced by the "Dover Transportation Center." The track on this bridge at this time led to the Sawyers section of Dover, to An Agway facility. The tracks here are all gone now. The bridge was recently redecked, and is now part of a Rail-trail and offers a wonderful view of the min line crossing the Cocheco.
