VTR 311 At Arlington, VT

The southbound Rutland/N. Bennington freight job rumbles past the former train station at Arlington, VT on Monday, December 15, 2014. The train is led by the 50th Anniversary engine, VTR GP40-2LW No. 311. After making a brief stop at North Bennington, the train proceeded down the Hoosick branch to drop a car off at the recycling siding near Walloomsac, NY. It then proceeded down to Hoosick Junction to pick up a train of cars from Pan Am Southern. The train returned north with the VTR 207 leading and the 311 and GMRC engine trailing.
