NS 9852 leads the autorack train east late on February 23rd with the "escaped" and returning P&W units 4001 and 4005. Milepost 448 for Eagle Bridge NY lies crestfallen on the left buried in the overwhelming snow. The crew will make a short stop at Hoosick Junction to check the brakes on the ninth car which has been balky out of Mechanicville.
