EDRJ: East Deerfield Yard- 8/6/2015My last hurrah on the B&M before heading back to school found a nice bit of action at East Deerfield yard with some good friends. We were able to catch both of the Pan Am Southern heritage units, the departure of an EDBF, and a train to follow home! After waiting for EDBF to make their way up to the Conn river, the "snoot-nosed" 606 began weaving EDRJ out of the yard. An excellent late afternoon chase ensued through the gorgeous Deerfield river valley, ending at North Adams where the train was stopped for an eastbound rack train.
