East New LondonThe once-busy Central Vermont terminal known to the railroad as East New London was long the southernmost point on the vast Canadian National system. A CV GP9 peered across the turntable there on a summer day back in 1978. Forty years later in 2018 there is no longer a trace of the turntable or roundhouse and what's left of the yard is usually empty.
