"The Next Train to Plymouth is Now Arriving"

The Winnipesaukee Scenic's final Fall Foliage Special of the season made a stop at the very historic Ashland (NH) Railroad Station to actually pick up a couple of passengers. The destination of this train was Plymouth and the Common Man Inn where passengers were treated to a wonderful buffet feast. The train stopped here, again, on the way back to Meredith so all the passengers could appreciate this historic former Boston, Concord and Montreal Train Station that was originally built in 1869 and remodeled in 1891 and now serves intact as a museum.
