NA-2 7595 at River Road in BowThe steady rains ended about a minute before the NA-2 Crew took 7595 out of the Perini Siding in Bow. They would head north to shove 80 empty cars out of the plant, and build their ECT to head south. Clear skies were to the north and west, while storm clouds were to the south and east of River Road.
This was the 13th such train to arrive in Bow since the resumption of service at the end of November 2019.
It was a patched former CSX power lineup that featured:
MEC 7797 (C40-8W)
MEC 7835 (C40-8W)
MEC 7595 (C40-8)
7595 was one of the first six axle locomotives to reach Concord in decades. The NA-1 Crew used 7542 & 7595 to bring north the empty military flat cars for New England Southern to set up the 2018 NH Army National Guard Military Train. 7595 had a very shiny red painted nose in 2018, similar to a famous reindeer we all know.
