While chasing southbound #211s on MMA's Searsport Branch is great in the morning, following the northbound counterparts can be quite different during shorter days of the year. At the second crossing of Muskrat Farm Road between Prospect and Stockton Springs, ME, 8569 and company turned into some sweet rays as they headed back for Hermon after a day along the water in Searsport. Lower light really brings out the colors on MMA's two repainted B39s. As of November, we're still waiting for 8592 to find its way down south of Northern Maine Junction this year.
