NECR 9534 at White River Junction, VT. New England Central's 9534 leads one of the last "600" White River Junction Switchers. Former GM Dale Carlstrom moved the switcher to work out of Bellows Falls, VT in desperation to save his job. Evidentally, he was given his walking papers shortly afterward. Photographed by Ken Hawkins, October, 1998.
