NYC 4096 Restored

A former Amtrak/Union Pacific E-9A was disguised in the 1980s as a New York Central unit, #4096, by the RMNE/CVRM forces at Essex. Previous pictures posted here document the restoration of this unit. In 1998, its owners moved it to Danbury where it remains today. Prior to the move, it was positioned in back of the engine house with open cab. I don't believe any work was done inside the unit during its restoration, as an Amtrak radio was still inside.
