BML #19 at Brooks, ME. 1947

BML#19 (exBAR #54), a 1901 Manchester 4-6-0 (Builder's #1782) acquired from the Bangor & Aroostook RR in January, 1940, stopped at Brooks, ME, in 1947. Scrapped in 1950, this was the last steam locomotive to run on the B&ML until 1995. (The headlight and front marker lights from this engine are now in my collection.)

Photographed by Victor H. Rawstron (Collection Of Bruce C. Cooper), 1947.
Added to the photo archive by Bruce Cooper, May 30, 2004.
Railroad: Belfast & Moosehead Lake.
