Torpedo Geep

Air tanks on roof recalled the looks of the famed Patrol torpedo boats (PT) of World War Two. So the name stuck.
October 1992 exhibition of locomotives (including MNCR 750) and cars was a Railroad Museum of New England event called "Danbury Railroad Days". RMNE arranged two days of trips on MN (to Waterbury and Dover Plains) using RMNE's NH 2525, and also arranged for MNCR 750 to be the power that handled the RMNE equipment to and from New Haven, and for it to be on display for the weekend. The location of th parked equipment was the Danbury Railroad Station before the Danbury Railroad Museum was established.
