A long day with "double-u-ay", too.(1)The B&M had been operating the Connecticut branches for just under two weeks at this point in time, and the opportunity to chase the daytime local was too good to pass up. We start off in Waterbury as WA-2 has just left the yard at the station, and is eastbound on the old Highland Div. near Watertown Jct. The two tracks in the foreground are the Watertown branch (closest) and the Naugy line up to Torrington. The Watertown branch track was later removed between Waterbury station and this location, with a switch connecting it to the Naugy here.
