WW&F Track Weekend (5)Looking almost due south you can see two reasons why north is the only practical direction to build track. First, in the center of this shot is Cross Road. To the south (at the top of the photo) you can see the grade disappears under a huge beaver bog. Although I didn't get a closer picture of the bog, I could see that the grade was nearly invisible under the water.
