Sheepscot River Bridge on the Maine Eastern (3)Looking to the northeast, you can see that the Sheepscot River Bridge is really comprised of five sections. A Causeway leads up to the Bascule, followed by a small truss, the large arched truss, and a final small truss bridge. The bridge tender's house sat on the point just to the left of the Bascule, and was accessed by a small footbridge.
