Photo of Wandering Caboose finally arrives.
Wandering Caboose finally arrives.

The very wayward caboose roaming the rails from Syracuse to Buffalo and other points east and west, finally arrived at the shops of the Hobo Railroad in Lincoln, NH on 12/03/06 at 8:52PM after a grueling 3 month plus trip.
Hobo Railroad's last caboose train of the season retrieved the caboose northbound from the Lochmere Interchange Track after dropping off their consist of private cabooses at the Tilton/Northfield Freight House.
The plan is to have the expert craftsmen that work in the shop over the winter, to completely strip, sand, smooth dents etc and prime and paint with Dupont Imron in a Rutland RR scheme in honor of his grandfather's former employer.

Nerailer Ben Perry was on hand also for this inaugural ride up the 54 miles to Lincoln.
