The Strates Carnival Train is seen southbound at the former RR station at Stockbridge, Mass., on June 4, 2006. This year the train ran on June 3, and I caught the train at the RR station at Lenox, Mass.
However, the fast-moving train got ahead of me and I was unable to catch it at the Stockbridge station.
So I am sharing a picture that I took last year. One of my favorite locations on the Housatonic RR. Photo by John Bazan.
