An otherwise quiet and sweltering day in August of 2002 had taken a turn for the better with action picking up in Guilford's District 4. With softer tones of late afternoon, westbound EDRJ had plenty of fanfare with two out of three active SD26s in the mix. At Tunnel Road and MP415 in Rowe, MA, #619's weak horn did nothing to tarnish the rarity of having two of the old gators on a train in perfect weather. Not to mention adding SD45 #684 for kicks.
