Lamoille Valley RS-3 # 7804, passes the classic ball signals, while traversing upon former Maine Central trackage and about to cross over the Berlin, N.H. route of the Boston & Maine.

At this time, the Lamoille Valley RR operated the ex MEC Mountain Division track, between St. Johnsbury, Vt. and Whitefield N.H., as the subsidiary, Twin State RR.

I previously posted this photo in 2007, but rescanned from a print to obtain a sharper image.
