Union Freight Rails

Here under the gate on the South side of the Northern Ave. bridge is the most prevalent exposure of the Union Freight rails from the pavement. For severa feet, the tops of the buried rails can be seen. The rust leaches through the pavement for on the bridge and approach where the rails are still buried.
