Batten Kill Railroad -- Thursday February 07, 2013

BKRR 4116 leads two grain loads north through Cambridge NY on the afternoon of Thursday February 07. PanAm Southern didn't make the connection today so the Batten Kill elected to run north to avoid the "Blizzard of 2013" on Friday. Two expected inbound loads won't make it as those grain cars will ultimately be "crumpled" that evening in the Glenville derailment (Thursday night).

Photographed by Cully, February 7, 2013.
Added to the photo archive by John (Cully) Cullinan, February 9, 2013.
Railroad: Battenkill.
