Majestic Train... Majestic Train Station

Green Mountain's famous 405 Alco RS1 looks perfectly situated next to the historic Canadian Pacific Train Station in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.

These rails once saw many trains from Maine Central and Canadian Pacific with points north to Canada, east to Portland, west to St. Albans, and south to points everywhere !

Vermont Rail System's "Washington County Railroad" operates this line from Newport to White River Junction. Once a major route that went into a steep decline, has now seen quite a revival under Vermont Rail System's leadership.
