I think I shot this "Round the Mountain Excursion" in Wells River but didn't record the exact date in 1955. The film grain is due to the dark, overcast day. The trip ran to White River Jct. , Wells River, down the Crawford Notch to Dover and Boston. It was generally a fall or winter scenery trip covering about 330 miles in about ten hours.
