RM-3 picking up westbounds from the "New Yard" off the NH Route Sounthbound Main. Train is back on the Lowell Branch east of Meadowcroft Street. (You can see signal bridge over cab of lead unit) Power is four BM GP-9's. Train will get new crew at Fitchburg to forward train to McVille. Cabooses are no longer assigned on road jobs (haven't been for years) so no need to change caboose. It was a rare event that crews did not make their terminals. Those were the days.....
