Acela Train 2160 Passing Kingston StationAcela 2027, operating as train 2160, races through Kingston station on its way to Boston. I was lucky with both eastbound Acelas, managing to squeeze off a burst that included 1 frame with the Acela frozen just short of the 'Kingston Station' sign on the front of the depot. I can't imagine getting any luckier with my timing than in this shot. Both Acelas were moving at close to their full 150 mph speed (witness the dust cloud raised behind each); I cannot claim the skill to time this shot this well.
