Turned, fueled and watered, CNR 6218 begins its return to New London, CT on CV rails, between the Connecticut River and its inlet.south of Brattleboro, VT.( B&M's Ambassador had departed southbound a few minutes earlier, using B&M rails on the New Hampshire side of the river.).
