Terrific Ken! I rode one of these Portland to IP and back trips. I want to say it was 1974 or 75. It left from the site of the former GT India St. station in Portland and over the Back Cove Bridge before it burned. Similar power set to this except all black/red/white GT and CV. Also a similar in size, if not larger and incredible all light gray/black/red CN passenger car consist - and completely sold out! The two stops where everyone could get off and "wander" were Stark, NH and of course IP, Vt. An awesome high-speed photo runby was conducted at Stark.
