Here was Vermont Rail System's New England Southern Crew doing their best to cause massive traffic gridlock in Downtown Tilton, yesterday. ;-)

While the Crew can set the traffic signals to an all way stop, this crossing gets flagged & protected at this very busy intersection.

Behind the shiny yellow SW1500 was one loaded tank car of clay slurry headed for their customer, 3M, in Tilton.

Usually the NEGS Crew tends to make their runs in darkness, so this was a bit of a "uNEGSpected" surprise.
