Housatonic contributed several locomotives and a caboose to the displays at Canaan Railroad Days, held today at Canaan, CT Union Station. All HRRC locomotives were resplendent in their livery, a welcome change after several years of leased units. On the SE leg of the wye sits the FL-9 and the Roger Williams trainset, brought down from Lenox for the event.

There seems to be some good cooperation between Housatonic and the Berkshire Scenic after some tensions a few years ago. Perhaps one day we'll see passenger excursions return to the Berkshire Line. The Mass. rebuild is getting closer to completion.
